Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Next Wave Parenting ("Next Wave Parenting", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use nextwaveparenting.com. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information we collect
- Account and order details: name, email address, mobile number, password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form), courses bought, plan, order and payment reference numbers.
- Payment information: payments are handled by payment gateways (Razorpay, PhonePe, Cashfree, PayPal). We do not receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank passwords. For direct UPI payments we store the UTR/transaction ID and the payment screenshot you upload, only to verify your payment.
- Learning activity: lessons completed, sign-in times and device sign-in sessions, used to show your progress and protect your account.
- Live sessions: registration details (name, email, phone), attendance, and — if you turn them on — your video, voice and chat messages, which may appear in the session recording.
- Messages: anything you send us through the contact form, email or WhatsApp.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure. If analytics tools are added, they collect anonymous usage data.
2. How we use your information
- To create your account, confirm payments and give you access to courses and live sessions.
- To send login details, receipts, live session links, reminders before your access ends and important service updates.
- To tell you about new courses and sessions. You can ask us to stop these messages at any time.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To prevent fraud, account sharing and unauthorised copying of course content (for example, the watermark on videos shows your email and phone number).
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
3. Live session recordings
Live sessions may be recorded. Recordings can be accessed and downloaded only by Next Wave Parenting’s administrator, are not shared with participants or third parties, and are permanently deleted automatically 7 days after the session. Participants cannot download recordings.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Website, and only as needed:
- Payment gateways, to process your payment.
- Hosting, email and video/live-session service providers (for example, our web host and video meeting provider), to deliver the service.
- Government or law-enforcement authorities, when required by law.
These providers may store data outside India, under appropriate safeguards.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms and remember your choices. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the Website, such as signing in, will then not work.
6. Data security
We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, access controls and signed, time-limited video links to protect your data. No online system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will inform you and the authorities of a data breach as required by law.
7. How long we keep data
We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and as required by tax and accounting laws (generally up to 8 years for financial records). Live session recordings are deleted after 7 days. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
8. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent for marketing messages, or nominate another person to exercise your rights. Write to info@nextwaveparenting.com. Some information may need to be kept to meet legal obligations.
9. Children’s privacy
Our services are for parents and guardians aged 18 or above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a child appears in a live session, it should be with the parent’s consent and supervision.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the date of the last update.
